How to add field content to the email body

To add data from a field within your App to the email sent with your GoCanvas-generated PDF follow these instructions:

1. Click the Edit button next to the name of your App to launch the App Builder
2. Locate the field you would like to add to the body of your email. If one does not exist in your app, you can add one from the Palette.
3. Click on the field to open the Field Settings.
4. Expand the More tab.
5. Click in the check box for Email Body.

Don’t forget to Save or Publish to device and you are all set.

Note: This functionality is not available for the following field types: photo, signature, web link, GPS, checkbox, drawing.
