Can GoCanvas generate a unique number to be used as job number or work order number?

Yes! GoCanvas allows you to send and download PDFs of the data you collect. These PDFs are customizable. One of the things you can customize is a numbering system. This function is perfect for Job Numbers, PO (Purchase Order) Numbers, Work Order Numbers, Ticket Numbers, or any other type of unique number you have (or had!) on your paper forms.

Using our Submission Numbering feature, GoCanvas will generate unique numbers for all of your Submissions. You can use this feature in the GoCanvas Standard PDF, PDF Designer, or on a custom-built PDF. You can add a prefix and date to the Submission numbering as well as choose at what number GoCanvas should begin counting.

In summary, GoCanvas will generate a unique number for each of your Submissions. The number will show up on the top right of your Standard PDF or wherever the Submission Number element is placed in the PDF Designer.
