Yes! Say an employee has left your company and you need to replace the employee on your GoCanvas account. It's easy to make that change and get the new user up and running.
The easiest option is to replace the old employee's information with the new user. By editing the old employee's profile, you can effectively end access for the old employee and grant access to the replacement. To do so, follow these steps:
Note: This process will not hide any old data from the new employee. The new employee will have access to the old employee's submissions from the GoCanvas website. All previous submissions will show as being submitted by the new employee (that is, the change is retroactive). If you need to maintain the old user's submissions, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for alternative options.
- Navigate to Account>Users.
- Locate the old employee. Click on the old employee's name.
- Click the Edit button in the Profile Information area.
- Change the old employee's information to the new employee.
- Save the changes.
Once complete, you are redirected to the user's profile page. From here you can change the password for the new user or your can submit a password reset for them.
