How to Dispatch to Loop Screens

Dispatch allows you to pre-populate GoCanvas Apps and then assign them to users in your account. This is a great way to assign jobs to your mobile workers so they know where to go, who to talk to when they get there, and what needs to be done. 

With GoCanvas you can set up dispatches for loop items. There are three options for dispatching loop items: through the Dispatch manager, the Dispatch calendar, or using the GoCanvas API.

Dispatch Manager & Calendar

The process for creating Dispatches to loop screens from the web is pretty much the same; the only difference is where you start the process from. Either way, you'll navigate to the Workflow & Dispatch page. From there, either click on the Create Dispatch button or click into the Dispatch Calendar and create a new Dispatch there.

Fill out your Dispatch form as usual.

When you come to a loop while creating a Dispatch, you'll have the option to add an item. Click New Loop Item.

Enter the item details. Once finished, you can either delete the item using the trash can icon or add another item.
