How to use GoCanvas online reports

GoCanvas allows you to view some simple reports and metric information online. If you want to create custom reports with specific metrics, export data from GoCanvas into Excel or another spreadsheet tool. Learn more about how to download submitted data as a CSV file.

The reports that GoCanvas provides online for all of our users can be found by navigating to the Account section and selecting Reports. The reports available are: 

• Active User Report
• Inactive User Report
• Mobile Client Version Report
• Reference Data Report
• Return on Investment
• Users, Groups, and Apps Report

Active User Report

The Active User Report will give you the number of responses submitted by each user on each day for a specified date range. The Active User Report will provide the following information:

• Username
• Number of Submissions
• Date of Last Submission

In addition, the Active User Report will give you a graphical representation of the data in several different formats.

Inactive User Report

The Inactive User Report will give you a list of users who have not made a submission over a 30 day period or smaller range.

Mobile Client Version Report

The Mobile Client Version Report will show you a table of all users on your account and their device information. The report includes the following information:

• Name
• Username
• Last Login Date
• Last Login Device Type
• Last Login GoCanvas Version

Reference Data Report

The reference data report shows what reference data is being used by which apps.This report will give the following information:

• Reference Data Name
• Date the Data was Last Updated
• App Name

Return on Investment

The Return on Investment shows how much money you have saved since you have been using GoCanvas.

The formula used for the calculation is configurable for each organization. You can customize your own on the page.

Customizing the Formula

The formula allows you to configure each of the following items so that the formula can be specifically customized for your use.

• Price of a paper form
• Price of postage (if applicable)
• Hourly labor rate to transpose paper form into a computer
• Minutes it takes to transpose each form
• Real estate expense to store each paper form
• Carbon tax rate per ton of carbon
• Metric tons of carbon per form

Users, Groups, and Apps Report

There are three different reports under this report. These reports will let you see what apps are assigned users and groups. They will also show you what users are assigned to groups. 

The Users and Apps Report will show you:

• Username
• Assigned Apps

The Groups and Apps Report will show you:

• Group Name
• Group Description
• Assigned Apps

The Users and Groups Report will show you:

• Username
• Assigned Groups
